Color Blocking your nails?

Hello ladies so a huge trend that you may have seen on the runway is Color blocking! Color blocking is when you take a solid one colored piece of clothing & mix it with another solid colored piece of clothing. This trend is very hard to pull off & can make you look as if you dressed yourself in the dark! Especially when you don't match the right colors together. So I decided to take it one step at a time & color blocked my nails!!! Yaaaay!! I'm surely getting into the trend lol. This is great for those of you who aren't sure about the whole color blocking trend & can simply wear the lock extremely minimal.

The first step was to paint the top half of each nail with the yellow.

 Right after applying the yellow, I applied the dark pink polish on the tips of my nails as if I were getting a french manicure.

 

After both the yellow & pink polish were completely dry, I applied the orange color in between the yellow & pink to create a sort of fading effect.

 

After all 3 shades were finished drying, I then added black stripes (sort of like zebra print) just to add a bit more of fun & edge!

This is basically how the nail art came out to look like when it was all complete.
