So some of you all may or may not know that Pantone has announced that Emerald is the color of the year for 2013! A lot of people (including myself) were pretty skeptical on how to wear this trendy color and how would they manage without looking like a leprechaun. I will admit, I am not a super huge fan of greens but I do like it when it's very minimal. I mean, I have worn emerald/green shirts in my time but nothing over the top. So for me to get into the spirit of the Emerald year I decided to start small and what else is better then to start with a nail color? Yes, I found the perfect nail color I had in my collection already that I've never worn! What really caught my attention was the name of the actual polish itself. Behold, Emerald City by Sally Hansen!
It does look a lot deeper in the bottle but as soon as I applied the first coat I knew right away why it was called Emerald City. Everyone who saw my nails absolutely loved it and wanted to know where they could get the polish. I personally bought mine at a Dollar Tree in Deleware but Sally Hansen polishes are mostly sold in drugstores and chain stores like Walmart and Target.
