Review on the Too Faced loves Sephora palette featuring photos and swatches

Hello my lovelies! Today I wanted to give a huge birthday shout out to one of my favorite brands of all time, Too Faced cosmetics! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOO FACED!

In celebration of their Sweet 15, Too Faced has decided to come out with a palette that is exclusive to only Sephora and of course, because I love Too Faced and Sephora, why would I not review the palette for you all? Not only is the palette exclusive to Sephora, but the eye shadows are named after memories and iconic moments both Sephora and Too Faced have together! Isn't that so cute?

So the palette is wrapped within a tin can (so that you're able to keep your shadows safe ; )  and possibly keep the palette a lot longer) which includes ten exclusive eye shadows, one contouring bronzer, one glowy bronzer, one highlighter, a blush, a blush/bronzer brush and a mini Too Faced shadow insurance eye shadow primer. It is sold at your local Sephora (U.S) for $52.00 (Canada) $62.00.

Description of the shadows:

First row:

Piano Keys- a skin toned shimmery shade that reflects more on the pinky/neutral side.

So Cal- is a gorgeous pink shimmery shade that gives the lid a beautiful, soft and healthy glow.

TF loves (hearts) the cast- a green shimmery shade that reflects different shades of greens on multiple skin tones. It looks like its a lime green almost but when you look at it closely, it can look lime greenish or a "army" green )on deeper skin tones) with a gold reflect.

Jer Jer- a beautiful, rich golden shade that can also reflect bronze (depending on what skin tone).

525 Market- in person, it looks as if it's a shimmery maroon-ish shade but after swatching the shadow and taking pictures in different lighting, I have come to a conclusion that it looks more like a brown with very high red undertones to it!

Second Row:

Behind the counter- a matte cool toned brown.

Soho- a shimmery lilac shade.

Envy- a shimmery deeper purple that contains reflects of blue.

David & Marge- a shimmery sea foam blue.

1998- a shimmery hydrangea shade (when hydrangea's decide to go on the purple side).

Third Row:

Chocolate Soleil Bronzer- a matte bronzer that is magnificent for contouring (for lighter skin tones, use very lightly with a loose bristled brush).

Sunny Bunny Bronzer- a dual toned bronzer that you can mix together and achieve a golden and pinky bronze look together or you can use each side individually without looking orange-y or you can use the darker side to give you a deeper glow and use the lighter half to give you a gorgeous golden highlight.

Who's Your Poppy?- a shimmery/sheen of a blush that gives out a coral look with its peachy/pink mixed tones that looks great on any skin tone with a gorgeous golden sheen.

My Thoughts:

I absolutely love Too Faced cosmetics and I have been a loyal fan since I started to love "higher end" makeup. Their eye shadows are truly pigmented and you don't need much to create a great look. However,  besides the story behind this beautiful palette, I have to say, I am not impress with this palette at all. I feel as if it's the "usual" with Too Faced. When they release limited edition palettes or products, I feel 97% of the time every eye shadow is shimmery/glittery. They constantly put the same blush in just about EVERY palette they make (the peachy/pinky/golden almost a "Orgasm" dupe) with different names (meaning "Papa don't Peach" or "Who's Your Poppy?") They also include Sunny Bronzer, which is pretty for the most part but it's not for everyone. I own multiple palettes from them that I feel as if I should just stop buying everything Too Faced comes out with because I already know what to expect sadly. Overall, for those of you who are just beginning with makeup and want to try something exclusive and higher end, here's your chance! Like I said, it is an amazing palette but since I've been a Too Faced fan for years, I do not think it's a must have unfortunately.

Thank you my lovelies for taking the time out to read my post. I hope this helped you a bit. Love ya! XOXO
